BOSS is redefining corporate attire with its Spring Summer 25 collection, unveiled at the Palazzo del Senato in Milan. Following the CorpCore-themed Fall Winter 23 runway show, this latest presentation introduced a fresh perspective on professional wear, focusing on self-expression and a more relaxed approach to daily life. The collection, themed “Out of Office,” challenges traditional office norms, emphasizing a clocked-out lifestyle that prioritizes comfort and individuality.

The runway, set in a transformed courtyard, featured a winding path through lush greenery, creating a tranquil escape from the city’s frenetic energy. This setting symbolically contrasted the rigid structures of corporate dress with a more liberated vision of style. Models wore the collection in an environment that embraced stepping away from conventional work attire and embracing a more casual look.

Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction at HUGO BOSS, articulated the brand’s shift in focus towards a softer, more adaptable silhouette. The collection moves away from the rigidity of traditional suits, introducing an understated three-button design made from lighter fabrics. These pieces are designed to gently conform to the wearer’s body, freeing movement without the constraints of shoulder pads or stiff internal structures.

For the first time on the BOSS runway, sporty elements and accessories were integrated into the collection. Items such as yoga mats and tennis racket bags alongside sleepwear-inspired pieces like pajamas and dressing gowns illustrate a departure from formalities. The infusion of casual style is complemented by details like trousers’ hems raised above the ankle. Elegant draping and wrapped constructions were prevalent throughout womenswear.

In menswear, casual shirting silhouettes emerged, featuring single-pocket designs and drawstring hems, paired with tailored trousers. Evening options included deconstructed silk jackets with shawl lapels. Footwear options emphasized comfort, with low-profile sneakers and leather slides crafted from Italian leather. Accessories such as slouchy briefcases and sports-inspired bags eschewed traditional structures.

The collection’s color palette featured a relaxed selection of hues, including light and navy blues, earthy browns, whites, blacks, and subtle greens. The runway show itself was a star-studded affair, with athletes and celebrities like Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini, and David Beckham in the front row.
