Cena & Styles Deliver Classic, Rollins Defeats Rhodes

WWE Crown Jewel is officially in the books and the company should be ecstatic with the show everyone delivered to the crowd in Perth, Australia.

It all started with a very physical Australian Street Fight between Bronson Reed and Roman Reigns, that saw the Auszilla pick up the biggest singles win of his career. Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton delivered an excellent back-and-forth battle for the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, and Seth Rollins finally got the monkey off his back.

The Visionary defeated Cody Rhodes to capture the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, but he may have suffered an injury in the process. He was heavily favoring his left shoulder throughout the third act of the match and during his celebration afterward.

Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY were able to outlast the Kabuki Warriors, and finally, John Cena and AJ Styles deserve a curtain call.

If by some chance you missed their match at Crown Jewel, go out of your way to find it and watch it. These two rivals delivered an absolute love letter to the industry that will remind folks everywhere why they became professional wrestling fans.

Here’s everything you may have missed from Saturday morning’s Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.

Rhea Ripley narrated the show’s cold open and encouraged her fellow Australians to be louder than any other overseas crowd that came before them.

Th Australian Street Fight is the opening bout of the night (morning) and Adelaide, Australia native Bronson Reed made his way to the ring first. He received no love from Perth as the crowd immediately began signing the name of Roman Reigns. The RAC Arena then came unglued when The OTC’s music hit.

Roman Reigns gained the early advantage. He drove the big man from the ring with several thunderous right hands and then delivered a drive by. This one spilled into the audience very quickly as The Tribal Chief kept up his assault with a trash can.

The OTC brought all sorts of toys to Perth. He pulled out a cricket bat, much to the delight of the crowd, and he also threw a rugby ball at Paul Heyman.

Reed just could not get any offense going early on as Reigns pummeled him with the cricket bat and a kendo stick. The Head of the Table then grabbed a mic and told Perth if they want tables then they need to acknowledge him. They did as requested, but Bronson used the opportunity to blast Reigns from behind and throw him into the steel ring steps.

Now that he finally had the upper hand, Reed grabbed a steel chair and immediately targeted the same ribs he fractured just weeks ago at Clash in Paris. He started talking a little too much trash and Reigns surprised him with a Samoan Drop on the chair. He made the first cover of the match but only kept Bronson down for a two count.

Roman attempted to hit a Superman Punch, but Reed caught him mid-air and delivered a Death Valley Driver for a two count of his own. Bronson brought a stop sign into the party and dropped Reigns on top of it with a uranage for another two count.

Reed wedged a chair into the ring ropes and attempted to splash Roman into it, but Reigns ducked and Bronson went head first into the steel. He then feel victim to a Superman Punch that earned The OTC a close two count. He set up for the spear, but Bronson rolled to the outside. Reigns followed him out there and went to deliver a spear on the floor, but Bron Breakker jumped the railing and cut The Tribal Chief in half with his own spear.

The Vision then paid homage to The Shield by sending Roman flying though the commentary table with a power bomb. Reigns seemed to be in a world of trouble as the Brons started setting up tables in the ring, but Jey and Jimmy Uso arrived to make the save.

All chaos broke loose as The Usos and The Vision began to brawl. Breakker took a 1-D, but recovered in enough time to spear Jimmy Uso through the barricade. Back in the ring, Jey attempted to spear Bronson through a table, but he hit Roman instead.

Breakker then speared Jey to take him out of the equation and he dragged Roman to the center of the ring. Bronson Reed climbed to the top rope and delivered a thunderous Tsunami and pinned The Tribal Chief!

The Auszilla became the first man to pin Roman Reigns in a singles match since Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.

After the match was over, Reigns expressed his disappointment in The Usos. He told them to stay away, because the entire world believes he can’t do anything on his own. Roman said he loves them, they’re still family, but he doesn’t want to see them until Christmas.

Jey then left Jimmy alone in the ring after he declared that he was ‘out’. He said at the end of the day, Roman is always going to be Roman.

The 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match was up next and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer was out first, followed by WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The crowd was split as they began dueling ‘La Primera’ and ‘Tiffy Time’ chants.

This match was a technical stalemate early on, with Tiffany and Stephanie exchanging two counts on differing cradle attempts. They countered some of each other’s signature moves and neither was able to gain any discernable advantage, until La Primera dropped Stratton with a super kick.

Vaquer continued to go after Tiffany’s head and neck area with her kicks, but Tiffany was able to fight back. She hit one of the smoothest cartwheel Alabama Slam’s you will ever seen. It was so seamless, Michael Cole thought it was the first time she had ever performed that move.

Stratton went for a top rope senton, but Vaquer got her knees up and Tiffany landed right on the back of her neck. Stephanie locked the WWE Women’s Champion in the Devil’s Kiss, much to the delight of the audience, and then hit the SVB but Tiffany kicked out at two.

La Primera then got caught in Tiffany’s rolling senton and she hopped immediately to the top rope for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but Stephanie got out of the way. Vaquer went up top herself and hit Stratton with her corkscrew splash, and scored the three count to capture the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship!

Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque made his way into the ring to present Stephanie with her Crown Jewel Champion belt and ring. Jackie Redmond interviewed The Dark Angel after the match was over and she thanked the crowd for believing in her. She said they made history together.

Paul Heyman entered Bronson Reed’s locker room and congratulated him on his big victory over Roman Reigns. He said that when people talk about the future of WWE, they will talk about both Reed and Bron Breakker.

The Oracle also informed both men that they are not to help Seth Rollins in his match with Cody Rhodes under any circumstances. He said it’s time to find out if The Visionary can defeat the American Nightmare on his own or not. When Breakker asked what happens if Rollins loses, Heyman said he already knows the answer to that question.

John Cena versus AJ Styles was up next. Michael Cole acknowledged that 2026 will be Styles’ last year in wrestling. Cena gave Alicia Taylor a special introduction for Styles, that declared him as the ace and total boss of the Bullet Club.

AJ Styles is still in phenomenal shape, pun intended, and he ran circles around Cena in the opening minutes. He hit multiple sliding clotheslines that kept the Never Seen 17-Time World Champion down on the canvas, until he was able to connect with a desperate clothesline attempt.

Cena went for the five moves of doom, but Styles rolled out of the way of the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He hit John with a kick to the head, but Cena caught him with another side slam. He hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle and followed it up with an Attitude Adjustment, but Styles kicked out at two.

Styles then pulled out a desperation move of his own by grabbing Cena and dropping him with a ushigoroshi. John took the momentum right back by giving him Styles a Skull Crushing Finale, a nice tip of the cap to another former rival in The Miz.

Both men exchanged submission holds, with Styles slipping out of the STFU and locking in a cross face. Cena then rolled through and put AJ in an Accolade, a nod to his rivalry with Rusev. Styles countered that into a coquina clutch, a nod of his own to Samoa Joe. It was Cena’s turn to flip the script as he then transitioned into the Walls of Jericho.

Cena would eventually get Styles back into the STFU, but he got out and connected with a Styles Clash for a close two count.

The spot of the match came a few moments later when John Cena delivered Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail. The fireflies emerged in the crowd as they began to chant ‘Thank you Wyatt’. AJ came back with another TNA tribute, hitting Christopher Daniels’ Angels Wings for a two count.

The tributes continued as Cena pulled out Randy Orton’s finishing combination, including the middle rope DDT and an RKO! Styles kicked out at two. Cena went for Randy’s punt, but Styles moved out of the way and hit John with his own Attitude Adjustment. But you guessed it… he kicked out at two.

Styles went for a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Cena sat up like The Undertake and gave AJ a choke slam for another two count. The crowd then started chanting for one of these two men to deliver a 6-1-9, and to his credit, John attempted but he was clotheslined by Styles.

AJ tuned up the band and delivered Shawn Michaels’ Sweet Chin Music, but again Cena kicked out a two. He hit the Phenomenal Forearm and Cena still kicked out at two! Cena caught Styles in another Attitude Adjustment, but Styles kicked out! The crowd busted out in “This is Awesome” chants.

Cena went for an avalanche Attitude Adjustment, but he was shoved off the top rope. Styles attempted a cross body, but Cena caught him mid-air. John hit him a Tombstone Piledriver and followed it up with an Attitude Adjustment to finally put Styles down for a three count!

Both men received a standing ovation from everyone inside of the RAC Arena for what was a truly special match. Cena and Styles gave each other hug and AJ cleared out of the ring to give his old rival the floor. Just four dates remain in John Cena’s career.

Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane were put in the very difficult position of having to follow that instant classic between Cena and Styles. The crowd was white-hot for Rhea’s arrival and the match started off quickly as the Kabuki Warriors ambushed Ripley & SKY before they could decide who would start.

The Warriors isolated IYO SKY early on, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats waiting for Rhea Ripley to get tagged in. Asuka pummeled her former Damage CTRL stablemate both physically and mentally as she verbally assaulted SKY with the delivery of each of her trademark strikes.

Asuka and Kairi did a wonderful job of building heat as they provoked Rhea into entering the ring, which caused Jessika Carr to turn her attention to Ripley and allow them to illegally double team IYO.

The Empress of Tomorrow began to dance all around the ring as she delivered strike after strike, laying in each one as tightly as possible, but SKY started to fire up. She challenged Asuka to keep throwing her punches and she just kept screaming for more with each blow. Finally, IYO found a window to tag in Rhea and The Nightmare sprung into action.

It wasn’t long at all before the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions found themselves back on the offensive. Asuka and Kairi really did dominate most of this match, until SKY was able to drop them both with a moonsault to the outside.

IYO hit Kairi with her Bullet Train attack and the Over the Moonsault, but Asuka broke up the ensuing pinfall attempt to keep the Kabuki Warriors in the match.

Rhea tagged in and attempted the Riptide, but Kairi slipped out and got the tag in to Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow hit a spinning back fist and held Ripley in position for Sane to hit the Insane Elbow. Asuka went for the cover, but IYO SKY broke up the three count this time around.

In the end, Kairi Sane’s love for Asuka cost her team the match. Rhea was attempting to deliver an avalanche Riptide to Asuka, when Kairi tagged herself in. Ripley hit Sane with a big boot as Asuka fell to floor. The Nightmare then dropped Kairi with a Riptide. She tagged in IYO so she could hit the Over the Moonsault and SKY scored the pinfall victory!

Main event time as WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was seeking his fourth consecutive win over World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and back-to-back Men’s Crown Jewel Championships. The Visionary seemed very focused at the task in front of him, even ignoring the ‘Seth is a Wanker’ chants from the crowd.

Frustration, however, started boiling over early for Rollins, as Rhodes was outmaneuvering him at every turn during the opening few minutes of the match. Seth started picking a fight with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett at the commentary desk, with the crowd keeping up the ‘wanker’ chants. He put the blame on them after they drew attention to the chants on SmackDown last night.

Rhodes would make the save and drag Rollins back into the ring, where he attempted a Disaster Kick, but Seth delivered a beautiful counter into a power bomb and finally gained the upper hand on the WWE Champion.

Seth began mocking Rhodes by performing the Stardust cartwheel and then his father’s Bionic Elbow. The Visionary locked in the Figure Four, but Cody was able to reverse the pressure, forcing Rollins to grab the bottom rope to break the hold.

Rhodes followed up with a flurry of offense. He hit the Disaster Kick and the Bionic Elbow. Rollins rolled out to the floor, but was met there by the diving WWE Champion. Back in the ring he hit the Cody Cutter, but Rollins kicked out a two.

The American Nightmare then went back to the well one too many times. He tried again for the Disaster Kick, but Rollins delivered a boot to the stomach and immediately followed up with a Pedigree for a two count. Seth would then hit Cody with his own Cross Rhodes for another near fall.

As Cody fought back, he went for a top rope Cody Cutter and completely missed. Rollins picked him up for another Pedigree and hit it. He then dropped Rhodes with a stomp, but somehow Cody kicked out at two.

A desperate Rollins then went to the timekeepers area and grabbed the watch that Cody gifted him at WrestleMania XL. He had the Rolex wrapped like he was going to hit The American Nightmare with it, but he decided against it and set it down in the corner of the ring. Rhodes capitalized on the hesitation by hitting the top rope Cody Cutter and then a Cross Rhodes, but Rollins kicked out at the very last possible moment.

Seth gained the upper hand again and hung Cody from the top turnbuckle. He then delivered a coast-to-coast diving headbutt, but Rollins landed awkwardly on his left shoulder and he spent several minutes trying to shake off the pain. He was still able to deliver a top rope Spanish Fly on Rhodes and then a Rock Bottom, but again the WWE Champion kicked out.

Rollins attempt to go back up to the top rope, but Rhodes met him there and was able to pull off a beautiful avalanche Cross Rhodes. Seth was barely able to kick out at two.

Both men got to their feet and started to trade blows. The referee was knocked down briefly, but he was down long enough for Rollins to grab the Rolex. Cody attempted a Cross Rhodes, but Seth punched him in the face with the watch. Rollins then hit Rhodes with a stomp and followed it up with a stomp from the second rope, and he finally pinned him to win the 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Championship!

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was then out to present Seth with his Crown Jewel Championship belt and ring. Rollins ripped the microphone away from Cathy Kelley and declared himself to be the Greatest of All-Time.

He was still selling the shoulder injury as Stephanie Vaquer met him in the ring. The 2025 Crown Jewel Champions closed the show by posing with their newly won titles.

Bronson Reed defeated Roman Reigns in an Australian Street Fight.

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to win the 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
